So I was looking deeper into the DGR issue since I didn’t even know them before the transphobic bullshit came up.

First of all, what I really find disgusting is their way of portraying transgender as a response to patriarchy if your born sex is female. Also, Gender is a class. Which might explain why they think of gender as a hierarchy. (that only includes female vs male class of course!)

They also try to compare gender with race (like you can’t be trans-black, so you can’t be transgender either!). Yeah, obviously someone doesn’t know about white people doing black face for fun and giggles.

This is so far off the point. I have never read about, spoken to or seen anybody identifying as transgender or genderqueer who said “Today, I’m trying to understand how women are oppressed so I change my gender identiy for today” like people do who wear black paint (or whatever they use) on their face.

They claim, as a transwoman you once had male priviledge and thus you can never ever be a women. This is ridiculous. Seeing as transgender people face even harder oppression than women, are more likely to be raped and killed, the average transgender person is supposed to die at age 23 (!!!). how can the “once” priviledge ever make up for that?!

That’s like saying because your parents didn’t abuse you, your abuse experience by a partner is not real cause you had the priviledge of growing up in a healthy family. Doesn’t matter that your partner is about to murder you! You grew up in a good family, stop complaining!!
